Margaret M. Brown, 87, of 620 Laurel St., formerly of Fuller Street, died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Lee on March 21, 1918, daughter of James and Margaret Irwin Brown, she graduated from Lee High School. She had worked for a number of years at the William Stanley Library at General Electric Co. in Pittsfield, retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She leaves three nephews and two nieces. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Margaret M. Brown, who died Feb. 28, 2006, will be held Friday morning at 10:30 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will follow in St., Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. She leaves her three nephews, Daniel E., Peter W., and James E. Brown, and her two nieces, Anne E. Brown CSJ and Susan A. Brown. She was predeceased by her brothers, James I. and Daniel B. Brown.
