Helen A. Gage, 86, of 30 Chestnut St. died Wednesday morning at her home. Born in Lee on Oct. 25, 1919, daughter of Charles and Laura Brazee Armstrong, she attended Lee schools. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed wildlife, especially bird watching. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles. Her husband, Everett A. Gage, whom she married June 7, 1940, died Sept. 19, 1978. She leaves a son, Everett E. Gage of Clemons, N.Y.; a sister, Jennie Erickson of Barre; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Helen A. Gage, who died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006, at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, in Lee, with the Rev. Stanley M. Wooley, rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd in South Lee, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Visiting hours at the funeral home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238 will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. She was predeceased by a sister, Marian Clapper.
