Lillian Clairmont Harrington

Lillian Clairmont Harrington, 94, formerly of 882 Savoy Road, died Friday at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown. Born in Adams on June 26, 1911, daughter of William and Emma Norman Brassard, she was educated in schools there. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Harrington worked at one time for various paper companies in Adams. A longtime resident of Cheshire, she worked on the family farm on Route 116 with her first husband, William Clairmont, who predeceased her. Her husband, Chauncey Harrington, also is deceased. She leaves a niece, Patricia Furey of Cheshire, and a nephew, Douglas Wabnig of Plainfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Following cremation, a graveside service for Lillian Clairmont Harrington, 94, who died Friday, March 17, 2006, will be conducted at a later date in Bellevue Cemetery by the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel in Lanesborough. She leaves great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marion Wabnig and Loretta Czapla, and by three nephews, Robert Wabnig, Francis Robinson and Douglas Wabnig. Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Harrington may be made to Berkshire Union Chapel in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
