Herbert T. Crunden Jr.

Herbert T. Crunden Jr., 61, of 294 Foley Hill Road died Friday at home after a long illness. Born in Connecticut on Oct. 31, 1944, son of the late Herbert T. Crunden Sr. and Alta Madra Crunden, he attended schools in Connecticut. Mr. Crunden worked for the former Ames Department Store in Great Barrington from 2000 to 2002. He also bred and raised dachshunds with his parents, grew vegetables, and co-owned and ran a Christmas tree farm. He leaves several cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Herbert T. Crunden Jr., who died March 17, 2006, will be conducted tomorrow at 11 at Mill River Center Cemetery by the Pastor Charles VanAusdall. There will be no calling hours. BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
