Alma J. Doyle

Alma J. Doyle, 44, of 58 Ingalls Road died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Richmond, Va. on Feb. 27, 1962, daughter of the late Malcolm and Helen Crawford Campbell, she was a 1980 graduate of Princess Ann High School in Virginia Beach, Va., and attended Career Dynamics Institute, where she studied medical transcription. After moving to this area, Mrs. Doyle was a unit secretary at Berkshire Medical Center. While in Virginia, she was a medical transcriptionist for 15 years at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk. She enjoyed bowling and playing horseshoes and was a Red Sox fan. She and her husband, Patrick Doyle, were married Sept. 10, 1988, in Virginia Beach. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Justin Patrick Doyle of Cheshire; a sister, Deborah Blevins of Haydensville, Va., and three brothers, Leonard Campbell of Chesapeake, Va., Shawn McCormick of Haydensville and Jack Campbell of Virginia Beach, Va. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Alma J. Doyle, who died March 25, 2006, will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church by the Rev. David Raymond, pastor. Burial will be in the spring in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Justin P. Doyle Education Fund in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01220. She also leaves numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and her mother- and father-in-law. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
