Kathleen Deacon, 75, of 32 Bailey Road died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Liverpool, England, on June 24, 1930, daughter of George and Margaret Ambrose Clarke, she attended Holy Name School in Fazakerley, England. Primarily a homemaker, she worked for Avis in Back Bay, Boston, in 1963. Before that, she worked for English Electric Co. in Liverpool and for Alcan Industries in Banbury, England. She and her husband, Peter Deacon, were married April 24, 1954. They immigrated to the United States in 1961. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Michael Deacon of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, Francis Clarke and Terence Clarke, both of Liverpool; two sisters, Jean Roach of Liverpool and Edna Hall of Newfoundland, N.J., and a grandson. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Kathleen Deacon, 75, who died March 24, 2006, will be conducted tomorrow at 3 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor of St. Charles' Church. Interment will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends from 2 until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201. She also leaves her grandson, Maxwell Deacon, and her daughter-in-law, Crystal Deacon.
