Richard Gamache

Richard Gamache, 42, of 28 Valley St. died Saturday morning at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield after a long illness. Born in Adams on July 29, 1963, son of the late Donald L. and Adella Rogowski Gamache, he graduated from St. Stanislaus' School and from Hoosac Valley High School in 1981. Mr. Gamache worked in his family's business, Greylock Ice and Fuel, retiring in 1998 because of ill health. He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka and Zjednoczenie Polskie Rzymsko Katolickie (ZPRK) societies. He enjoyed bowling and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. He leaves a sister, Barbara Bushey of Adams, and a brother, Donald L. Gamache Jr. of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Richard Gamache, who died Saturday, April 1, 2006, will be celebrated tomorrow, April 5, at 10 at St. Stanislaus' Church in Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME will be from 8 a.m. until the hour of the service. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Stanislaus' School through the funeral home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220. Mr. Gamache leaves two aunts, Daisy Rogowski and Stacia Wilczek, both of Adams, and several nieces and nephews.
