Anna Jaworski

Anna Jaworski, 101, of 5 Cherry St., died Tuesday evening at Williamstown Commons Care Center. Born in Adams on April 18, 1904, daughter of August and Frances Szamanska Wandrei, she attended Adams schools. Mrs. Jaworski was employed by the former Berkshire Hathaway Co., where she worked for 36 years as a speeder tender until retiring in 1958, when the company closed. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Parish and St. Thomas Aquinas, and was a member of their Rosary Sodality. She was a member of the former Golden Agers and a member of the Adams Senior Citizens. She and her husband, Stanley "Red" Jaworski, were married Aug. 28, 1937. He died April 28, 1990. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Ann Jaworski, who died Tuesday, April 11,2006, will take place Monday, April 17, at 10 a.m., in St. Thomas Church in Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue cemetery in Adams. Calling hours at TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME will be from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations in her memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home, 6 Summer St., Adams, MA 01220. Mrs. Jaworski leaves several nieces and nephews, also great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Five brothers, Charles, Frank, August, Bruno, and John Wandrei are deceased.
