Larinda "Rindy" Stoveland, 51, of 2845 Phillips Ave., Bronx, N.Y., a native of Great Barrington, died Friday at home after a long illness. Born on Dec. 10, 1954, daughter of Nelva McLaughlin Linkovich Cronin and the late Stanley W. Linkovich, she attended Sandisfield schools and was a 1972 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School. In New York, she worked as a cake decorator for various businesses. Before moving to the Bronx 20 years ago, she was employed by Great Barrington Nursing Homes as a nurse's aide. She also worked as a housekeeper in the Great Barrington area and for the former Melvin's Drug Store. She enjoyed art, flowers and photography. Besides her mother, of Sandisfield, she leaves a daughter, Danielle Stoveland of Bronx, N.Y.; a sister, Teresa Linkovich of Sandisfield, and a brother, Stanley Linkovich of Lyndonville, Vt. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The family of Larinda Stoveland, who died Friday, April 21, 2006, will receive friends at BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, April 25, from 10 to 11. A graveside service will follow at Sandisfield Center Cemetery, with the Rev. Alan Macy, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Stovland also leaves a niece, Allison Linkovich, and a nephew, William Linkovich.
