Gertrude Helen Graziola, 80, of 6B Village East died yesterday at North Adams Commons. Born in North Adams on Sept. 22, 1925, daughter of Andrew and Anna Burnash Durocher, she was a graduate of the former Notre Dame Elementary and the former St. Joseph's High schools. Mrs. Graziola worked as a manager and assistant administrator of the former Rest Haven rest home in Adams and also worked at Vets Taxi Service. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. Her husband, Ralph Graziola Sr., is deceased. She leaves a son, Ralph Graziola Jr. of the state of Connecticut; two daughters, Jacqueline O'Neill of Clarksburg and Patricia Smith of Falmouth, Maine; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Graziola. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Gertrude H. Graziola, who died Sunday, April 30, 2006, will be Wednesday, May 3, at 9 at AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS Funeral Home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Anthony's Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home. Mrs. Graziola also leaves two sons-in-law, Richard O'Neill and Carl Smith, and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Sterling and Northrup Durocher, and by three sisters, Margaret and Eleanore Durocher, and Virginia Delisle.
