Angelo J. Esoldi

Angelo J. Esoldi, 93, of Margerie Street died Monday morning at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Lee on May 27, 1912, son of Gusseppe and Lucia Mucci Esoldi, he graduated from Lee High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Italy and France. Mr. Esoldi retired in 1977 as a millwright from Kimberly Clark Corp. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Lee, a member of the Lee Senior Citizens and the Golden Agers. He was a past president of the Lee Council on Aging. He leaves a son, John Esoldi of Memphis, Tenn., and a sister, Carmella Frulla of Atlanta, Ga. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Angelo J. Esoldi, who died Monday, May 8, 2006, will be held on Thursday, May 11, at 10 a.m. at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. Friends wishing may make memorial donations to the Lee Council on Aging or St. Mary's Church in care of KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. He also leaves his daughter-in-law, Barbara Esoldi.
