Henry A. "Kick" Siegfried Jr.

Henry A. "Kick" Siegfried Jr., 80, of 117 Springfield Road, Beaufort, S.C., formerly of Great Barrington, died Friday at his residence. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., on May 11, 1926, son of Henry Siegfried Sr. and Florence Siegfried, he attended schools in the Sheepshead Bay area of Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Siegfried served in the Navy from 1943 to 1954. Prior, he had served in the Merchant Marine. He retired from Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Conn., where he was assistant director of plant operations. Previously, he had owned Kick's Restaurant at 20 Railroad St. from 1971 to 1977. He moved to South Carolina in 1990. He leaves no immediate family. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Henry A. Siegfried, who died May 26, 2006, will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Island Hospice, 300 New River Parkway, Suite 6, Hardeeville, SC 29927. COPELAND FUNERAL HOME in Beaufort, S.C., is in charge of arrangements.
