Harold Albert Daniels

Harold Albert Daniels, 64, of 174 North Summer St. died Wednesday at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown, where he was admitted earlier in the day. Born in Pittsford, Vt., on Jan. 31, 1942, son of Adrian H. and Anna Bradley Daniels, he attended schools in Lee, Dalton and Pittsfield, and later received his General Equivalency Diploma. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. A chef for several years, Mr. Daniels was employed by Corcoran's Restaurant in California and by the Dragon Restaurant in New Lebanon, N.Y. At one time, he was employed by Kelly Lumber in Pittsfield. He retired in 1990. He was a member of the Mountain Club and enjoyed fishing and boating. He leaves two daughters, Betty-Jo Robillard of Adams and Tammy-Lynn Marier of Pittsfield; two sons, John H. Daniels of Virginia and Ronald A. Daniels of Cokato, Minn.; a brother, John Daniels of Becket; two sisters; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Mary Lee Daniels, died in 1964. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Harold Albert Daniels, who died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, will be private. Mr. Daniels was also predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Leonard and Edna Molthrop, and two grandchildren, Corry Daniels and Shane Daniels. He is also survived by his former wife, Irene White Daniels, whom he married Oct. 10, 1964.
