Ellen M. Kilfeather, 52, of 226 First St. died Thursday at home of natural causes. Born in Great Barrington on Sept. 2, 1953, daughter of Gordon Carter and the late Gloria Hendershot Carter, she was a 1971 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School. She moved to Pittsfield 20 years ago. Mrs. Kilfeather was a homemaker. She and her husband, Francis Kilfeather, were married Jan. 2, 1986. Besides her husband and father, of Sheffield, she leaves a son, John F. Kilfeather of Pittsfield; a sister, Jean Hitchcock of Lee, and three brothers, Ronald Carter and Randall Carter, both of Pittsfield, and Robert Carter of Hyannis Port. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Ellen M. Kilfeather, who died Thursday, June 29, 2006, will be Monday, July 10, at 1 at St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pittsfield Visiting Nurse Association, in care of DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
