Emma McDarby, 90, of Lynn Ann Drive died yesterday at the home of her brother, Raymond Bertelli of State Road in Great Barrington, where she had resided since she became ill in May. Born in Lee on Feb. 22, 1916, daughter of Arnaldo and Annetta Cassela Bertelli, she attended local schools. Mrs. McDarby was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and enjoyed gardening. Her husband, Carl McDarby, died Feb. 20, 1982. She leaves her brother. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Emma Bertelli McDarby, who died July 4, 2006, will be celebrated Thursday at 2 at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will be private, for the family, at a later date. There will be no visiting hours. Those who desire may make contributions in Emma's memory to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. She leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, Enes Scaramuzzi, Dena Pauletto, Eale Salenetti and Alda Shepard.
