Allison J. Graham

Allison J. Graham, 21, of 7 Iron Ore Road died Sunday at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington as a result of an automobile accident. Born in Erie, Pa., on Aug. 6, 1984, daughter of Stephen A. Graham Sr. and Nancy Corcoran Graham, she moved to West Stockbridge as a child. She was a 2002 graduate of Monument Mountain Regional High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the girls' soccer and basketball teams. In 2000, she was a member of the Spartans' Western Mass. Division 2 championship basketball team. She also volunteered for the Special Olympics. She was a 2006 graduate of Westfield State College, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Ms. Graham was employed by West Stockbridge Public Market. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a coach at its youth sports camps. She enjoyed waterskiing and was a fan of the New York Mets, the New York Giants, the Syracuse Orange, the Boston Celtics and the Dave Matthews Band. Besides her parents, of West Stockbridge, she leaves a sister, Carrie Graham of West Stockbridge; a brother, Stephen Graham Jr. of West Stockbridge; her maternal grandmother, Alma Cronk Corcoran of Millbrook, N.Y., and her paternal grandparents, Henry A. and Janice Drew Graham of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Allison J. Graham, who died Sunday, July 23, 2006, will be Thursday, July 27, at 10 at St. Patrick's Church, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitkus, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 on Wednesday, July 26, at BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Allison's memory may be made to the Athletic Scholarship Fund at Monument Mountain Regional High School in care of the funeral home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230-1815.
