Michael G. Howe, 51, of 760 Tyler St. died Wednesday at home. Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 11, 1954, son of Bridget Ryan Howe and the late Richard J. Howe Jr., he was a 1975 graduate of Kolburne School in New Marlborough. Mr. Howe was employed by Price Chopper as a front-end associate in Lenox for five years, retiring in 2005. He was a communicant of St. Charles' Church and a member of the Transition Day Program. Besides his mother, of Pittsfield, he leaves five brothers, Joseph P. Howe of Nashua, N.H., James M. Howe of Cheshire, John T. Howe of Winchester, Richard J. Howe Jr. of Pittsfield and Thomas F. Howe of Longmeadow, and a sister, Marybeth Malacarne of Pittsfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Michael G. Howe, who died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, will be tomorrow, July 26, at 9 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., Pittsfield 01201, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Charles' Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Charles' Church or to the Brien Center, both in care of the funeral home.
