Patricia Ann Bushey

Patricia Ann Bushey, 77, of 37 Arnold Place, died Saturday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on June 18, 1929, daughter of Walter and Julia Todt O'Brien, she attended the former Adams Memorial High School. Mrs. Bushey was employed by the former Adams Nursing Home on Franklin Street in North Adams. Her husband, Edward Peter Bushey, whom she married July 21, 1953, died Sept. 2, 1996. She leaves five sons, David Bushey of Williamstown, Joseph Bushey, William Bushey and Bobby Bushey, all of Adams, and Bruce Bushey of North Adams; a stepson, Edward Bushey of Becket; three sisters, Charlotte Haas of Adams, Dorothy DeMastrie of Springfield and Ellen Spiela of Williamstown; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A daughter, Judith Bushey, died in 1955. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Patricia Ann Bushey, who died July 22, 2006, will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA Home for Funerals, CENTRAL CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. Memorial donations may be made to the family through the funeral home, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247. She leaves five daughters-in-law, Barbara, Doris and Barbara Bushey, Barbara Ellsworth and Elizabeth McDermott, and a niece, Marcia Tovani. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy O'Brien, and by two sisters, Margaret Pekos and Mildred Balardini. A grandson, Charles Daniel "Danny" Lowe, died May 25, 2006. Mrs. Bushey was a devoted mother and grandmother.
