Ronald J. Meloveck, 63
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Ronald J. Meloveck, 63, of 10 Depot St., Housatonic, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 20006, at Fairview Hospital.
Born in Mount Clair, N.J., on March 28, 1943, son of Francis and Jane Zaranek Meloveck, he moved to Stockbridge as a child and attended schools there.
Mr. Meloveck was employed as a maintenance man at the Marian Fathers on Eden Hill in Stockbridge for 47 years.
He was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic.
He leaves a sister, Constance Sweet and her husband, Norman Sweet Jr., of Williamstown; a nephew, Norman Sweet III; a great-niece, Kamryn Jean Sweet, and many friends.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Meloveck will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 10 at Corpus Christi Church by the Rev. Anthony Jutt, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at a calling hour preceding the funeral Mass, from 8:30 to 9:30 at BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy in Ron's memory be made to the Housatonic Hose Company in care of the funeral home, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230-1815.
