Valmore F. Charron

Valmore F. Charron, 68, of 42 Meadow St., Apartment #1, died yesterday at his home. Born in North Adams on Aug. 20, 1937, son of the late Francis Charron and Rose Thibert Charron, he attended schools in North Adams, including the former Notre Dame Parochial School. At the time of his death, he was employed for the Community Development Corporation as a custodian at the Windsor Mill in North Adams. Prior to that, he was employed at St. Joseph Court in North Adams. He also was employed at the former James Hunter Machine Co. in North Adams. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church in North Adams. He leaves a brother, Lawrence Charron of Adams, and his longtime caregiver, Steven Casuscelli, with whom he made his home. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Valmore F. Charron, who died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling Hours at the funeral home are Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested for BFAIR through the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247. He leaves a sister-in-law, Louise Charron; two nieces, Pam Niarchos and Julie Groen; a nephew, James Charron; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
