Margaret M. Miller, 61, of 105 Underwood Road died Sunday at home. Born in Pawtucket, R.I., on Jan. 26, 1945, daughter of the late Joseph and Sara Desjardins Mongeau, she was a 1962 graduate of Central Falls Catholic High School. Mrs. Miller had been employed by Price Chopper in Great Barrington since 2003. Before that, she was a real estate agent and office manager for Nancy Boya Real Estate in Southbury, Conn., from 1978 to 1995. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Mill River. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and baking. She leaves her husband, Gary Miller, whom she married on Oct. 10, 1980, in Southbury, Conn. Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, James Barstow of Thomaston, Conn., Joseph Barstow of Waterbury, Conn., and Matthew Miller of Naugatuck, Conn.; five grandchildren; and her first husband, James Barstow of Fairfield, Conn. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Margaret M. Miller, who died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, will be held later at a time to be announced. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Margaret's name may be made to the New Marlborough First Responders in care of BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME, 33 South St., Great Barrington, MA 01230-1815, who is in charge of arrangements. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Travis, Dallas, Fallon and Sarah Barstow, and Matthew Miller Jr.
