Linda J. Trudeau

Linda J. Trudeau, 58, of 17 Tilda Hill Road died Friday of cancer at North Adams Commons, where she was admitted Aug. 8. Born in Adams on March 11, 1948, daughter of the late Robert A. Burdick Sr. and Edna Jones Burdick, she attended schools in Florida and Drury High School in North Adams. Mrs. Trudeau was manager of Howard Johnson's restaurant in Amherst until ill health forced her retirement. Previously, she was employed by the former Signet Co. She was a member of the Florida Volunteer Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary. She leaves two brothers, Robert Albert Burdick Jr. of North Adams and David W. Burdick of Florida, and a sister, Sharon Sherman of Colby, Kan. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Linda Burdick Trudeau, who died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, will be conducted Thursday at 11 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams, by the Rev. Roy Burdick. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery, Florida. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7. Memorial donations are suggested for the Florida Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home. She also leaves two aunts, Mildred Tatro and Lila Dickinson; six nieces and nephews, Wendy (Burdick) Miller, Terry Burdick, Ann Stanley, and Wesley, Tammy and Russ Sherman, and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
