Susan Caven

Susan Caven, 98, of 765 South Church St. died yesterday at North Adams Commons. Born in Scotland on July 31, 1908, daughter of Robert and Susan Morgan Stalker, she emigrated to Clarksburg as a child and graduated from Drury High School. Mrs. Caven was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed dancing. Her husband William Joseph Caven, died Sept. 9, 1984. She leave two nieces, Susan Zoltek and Charlene Wiencek, both of North Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Susan Stalker Caven, who died Oct. 29, 2006, will be conducted tomorrow at 1:30 at the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, by the Rev. David Anderson, pastor of First Baptist Church. There will be no calling hours. FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements. She was predeceased by three brothers, Earl, Peter and John Stalker, and by a sister, Ella Elder. She was a devoted wife and homemaker.
