Louise Pino

Louise Pino, 95, died Friday at Fairview Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Great Barrington, where she had resided for 10 years. She was a former longtime resident of Egremont Heights in South Egremont. Born in Sheffield on June 14, 1911, daughter of Henry and Alice Funk Meach, she attended local schools and graduated from the former Searles High School in Great Barrington in 1929. Mrs. Pino was a homemaker. Mrs. Pino was a member of the Egremont Garden Club, the Ladies' Aid Society of Egremont Congregational Churchand the Egremont Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary. She and her husband, Antonio Pino, were married Sept. 17, 1929. He died March 12, 2002. She leaves a son, Robert Pino of South Egremont; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Mrs. Louise Pino will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 1:30 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 426 Main St., Great Barrington. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, and four grandchildren, Jane, Marlene and Lynn Pino, and Ruth Calderone. A brother, William Meach, is deceased.
