Lois H. Russell, 74, of 174 Mohegan St. died Monday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility. Born in Adams on Feb. 15, 1932, daughter of Henry and Helen Haskins Frederick, she was a graduate of the former Adams High School. A homemaker, Mrs. Russell worked at General Electric Co. as a young woman. She enjoyed reading and watching old movies. Her former husband, Ronald Russell, died Nov. 27, 1974. She leaves two sons, Timothy Russell of Pittsfield and Gary Russell of Cheshire; two daughters, Gail Winters and Debbie Russell, both of Pittsfield; a brother, HankFrederick of Pittsfield; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lois H. Russell, who died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, will be conducted Wednesday at 7 p.m. at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Paul Bombardier. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Renal Dialysis or the Women's Imaging Center, both in care of the funeral home. She also leaves her grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Nicole, Brendan and Corey Russell, Marc and Stephanie Hitchcock, and Ronald, Devin and Ryan Winters; a great-granddaughter, Brielle Winters; two daughters-in-law, Susan and Elaine Russell; a son-in-law, Butch Winters; and a sister-in-law, Nora Frederick.
