Peggy W. Millington

Peggy W. Millington, 86, of 88 South St. died at Berkshire Medical Center Monday. Born on May 30, 1920, in London, she was the daughter of Phillip and Winifred Gunter Wastell. She was educated in London schools. She married Reginald Millington on March 29, 1941, in England and the two moved to Hinsdale in 1954. She worked for 20 years at the information desk at Berkshire Medical Center. She was a member of the Church of England and enjoyed knitting, reading and baking. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Barbara Gallup of Pittsfield; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Alan Millington, who died in June. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Peggy Millington died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006. In accordance with Peggy's wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours. Following cremation, burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in her memory to the Hinsdale Ambulance Fund, in care of BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226. Mrs. Millington also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Donna Millington of Dalton; four grandchildren, Adam Millington, Jared Millington and his wife Jennifer, Matt Millington and Heather Tougas and Bonnie Manzolini and her husband, Kevin; five great-grandchildren, Landon and Reginald Millington, and Samantha, Katarina and Natalia Manzolini. Mrs. Millington also leaves behind her extended family, whom she loved very much, Rosemary Reid, Darbie DiPetro and her children.
