Patricia Deanna Romeo, 67, of 81 Park St. died early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Carla Martel of Savoy. Born in North Adams on Oct. 4, 1939, daughter of Harold R. Palmer and Mary D. Benoit Palmer Caprari, she attended schools in North Adams. Mrs. Romeo was last employed at Washington Elms Rest Home, Bennington, Vt., where she worked for more than 10 years. She married Ralph Romeo on Sept. 3, 1960. He died on Sept. 10, 1964. She leaves three daughters, Carla Martel of Savoy, Rhonda L. Romeo of Adams and Patricia Romeo-Jammallo of Ashland; and four grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a brother, Richard, and a sister, Mary Ann Robert. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Patricia Romeo, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPELS, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Romeo also leaves two sons-in-law, David Jammallo of Ashland and Vincent Martel of Savoy; and four grandchildren, Monique and Chloe Martel of Savoy and Evan and Wes Ouimet of Adams.
