Elizabeth M."Beth" Cariddi

Elizabeth M."Beth" Cariddi, 58, of 211 Church St. died yesterday morning at North Adams Commons. Born in Malden on April 4, 1948, daughter of Madeline Williamson Marchand Grasso and the late William Marchand, she graduated Lynnfield High School in 1966. Mrs. Cariddi was employed for the last 18 years, along with her husband, as the office manager at their family business, the Cariddi Auto Agency. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church, a member of the North Adams League of Women Voters and a former member of the North Adams Sons of Italy Lodge 704. She enjoyed photography and traveling to Scotland. She was also a youth hockey supporter. She and her husband, Guy R. Cariddi, were married on Aug. 23, 1986, in North Adams. Besides her husband, she leaves her mother, of Malden; two sons, Jonathan Rosado of Cincinnati and Joshua Cariddi of North Adams; two daughters, Donna Frank of Sacramento, Calif., and Jennifer Rosado of Brockton; three sisters, Lynne Marchand of Danvers, Kathy Marchand of Malden and Denise Oliveri of Derry, N.H.; four brothers, William Marchand of Brockton, Garry Bergeron of Worcester, and Mick and Jay Grasso, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and three grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Elizabeth M."Beth" Cariddi, who died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, will be held Saturday at 8:15 a.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams. A funeral Mass will follow at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, celebrated by the Rev. William F. Cyr. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home. She also leaves an aunt, Mary Keeney of Columbia, Md.; an uncle, Walter Cummings of Malden; and cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. An aunt, Elizabeth Cummings, died Oct. 29, 2004.
