Cecelia Rose Lepak

Cecelia Rose Lepak, 94, of 56 Orchard St. died yesterday at Williamstown Commons. Born in Adams on Aug. 12, 1912, daughter of Joseph and Aniela Furtek Wanat, she moved to Cheshire as a child and attended schools there. She returned to Adams in 1933. Mrs. Lepak was a stitcher for 14 years at the former Wall Streeter Shoe Co., retiring in 1974. Before that, she was employed by the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality and a member of the Polish Women's Alliance. Her husband, John Lepak, whom she married Nov. 6, 1933, died Sept. 28, 1991. She leaves a sister, Emilie Czelusniak of Adams and St. Albans, Vt. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Cecelia R. Lepak, who died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, will be Monday at 11:30 from PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:30 at St. Stanislaus' Church celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Catholic Parishes of Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 6 at the funeral home. Members of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Sodality will meet at the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. to pay their respects and recite the rosary. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus' School or Church through the funeral home. She also leaves a brother-in-law, Thadeus; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
