Delia Davis

Delia Davis, 53, of 175 Mohawk Forrest Blvd. died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., on July 1, 1953, daughter of the late George S. and Evelyn Murray Davis, she attended schools in North Kingston, R.I., and graduated from Mattapoisett (R.I). High School. She was employed as a billing and medical records clerk for Middlebury Family Physicians in Middlebury, Ind. Previously, she was employed in the electronic industry in Mashpee, and later at TASO Inc. in Cranston, R.I. She also was employed as a medical office manager in Woonsocket, R.I. She moved to North Adams in 2002. Ms. Davis was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in North Adams, where she sang in the choir. She leaves her former husband, Richard Falls of Middlebury, Ind., whom she married in 1973 in East Sandwich. She also leaves a son, Kevin Falls of Elkhart, Ind.; a sister, Christine Lipka of North Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A funeral to celebrate the life of Delia Davis, who died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, will take place Wednesday at 1 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS WEST CHAPEL, 521 W. Main St., North Adams, with the Rev. Edward King, rector of St. John's Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for St. John's Episcopal Church through the funeral home. Mrs. Davis also leaves a daughter-in-law, Christy Falls of Elkhart; three nieces, Laura Belleau of Adams, Amy Spencer and Lynn Lipka, both of North Adams; and three nephews, Scott Lipka and Stanley Lipka, both of North Adams, and Shawn Lipka of Adams.
