Stacia H. Soderstrom, 90, of 26 Anthony St., died Tuesday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on April 6, 1916, daughter of Karol and Zofia Swajkos Konieczny, she attended local schools. Mrs. Soderstrom was a homemaker. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas and was a member of Court Sancta Regina 904 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Her husband, former Adams police Sergeant John A. Soderstrom, whom she married June 13, 1942, died Jan. 29, 1993. She leaves a son, Jon Soderstrom of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; two daughters, Louise Meaney of Lenox and Susan Cellana of North Adams; a brother, Adolph Konieczny of Sun City, Ariz.; a sister, Molly Fagan of Ormond Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Stacia Soderstrom, who died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at noon in St. Thomas' Church, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Elder Services of Northern Berkshire County for its Meals on Wheels Program through the funeral home.
