Jessica L. Gable, 23, of 97 Cromwell Ave., died Wednesday at Berkshire Medical Center shortly after being admitted. Born in Pittsfield on April 27, 1983, daughter of Robert A. and Susan Kellogg Gable, she was a 2002 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School and attended Berkshire Community College. She received the President's Education Award from Cheshire Elementary School, achievement awards from Adams Memorial Middle School and the Rex Award from Reid Middle School. She earned her certified nursing assistant (CNA) degree from the American Red Cross. Ms. Gable was employed at one time as a CNA at Craneville of Dalton. She enjoyed bowling for Ken's Bowl youth programs. Besides her parents, of Pittsfield, she leaves her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Eleanor Kellogg of Pittsfield; and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Debra Gable of The Villages in Lady Lake, Fla., and Walter and Donna Stacy of Venice, Fla. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Jessica L. Gable, who died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, will be Monday at 9 a.m. from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Charles' Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Memorial gifts may go to Holyoke Providence Hospital Drug Rehabilitation Center, in care of the funeral home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
