Rachel J. Wright LaBonte White, 69, of 7 West St., died yesterday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Adams on Oct. 10, 1937, daughter of Joseph and Anna Pinsonneault Pigeon, she attended local schools. Mrs. White was employed by the former Waverly Fabrics Co. for many years as a seamstress and, most recently, was a cashier at Wal-Mart. She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas. Her first husband, Raymond Wright, died April 20, 1978. Her second husband, David LaBonte, died June 2, 1987. Her husband, Robert White, died May 2, 2002. She leaves four sons, Steven R. Wright of Hanes City, Fla., Joseph E. Wright of Travelers Rest, S.C., Robert J. Wright of Adams and Chris A. Wright of Rolla, N.D.; two daughters, Teri L. Leja and Gail Alvarez, both of Adams; a sister, Claire Carpenter of Adams; 27 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Rachel White, who died Monday, April 2, 2007, will be Thursday at noon from PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, with a Libera service at 1 p.m. at Notre Dame Church, Adams. Burial will be at a later date in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners' Children's Hospital through the funeral home. Mrs. White also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Bernard Pigeon, and by a sister, Irene Jarvis. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
