Peter Romeo Cerveira Bianchi

Peter Romeo Cerveira Bianchi, 15, of 429 Lanesborough Road, died at home on Friday evening. Born in Pittsfield, Jan. 8, 1992, son of John and Lynda Cerveira Bianchi, he was a sophomore at St. Joseph's Central High School where he was a member of the lacrosse, golf, and bowling teams, and was active in the outdoor club. Peter was a communicant and altar server at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Cheshire, as well as a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. He volunteered at the St. Joseph food pantry and he enjoyed snowboarding, kayaking, hiking and the outdoors. Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, Jason Bianchi of Pittsfield; a sister, Julia Bianchi at home; and his maternal grandparents, Arminda Cerveira of Pittsfield and Manuel Cerveira of Gouveia, Ribamondego, Portugal. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Peter Romeo Cerveira Bianchi, 15, who was called home on Friday, March 30, 2007, will be con-celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church by Msgr. Michael Shershanovich, pastor, the Rev. David Raymond, pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, and the Rev. Thomas Begley, former pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours will be on Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in his memory may be made to the St. Joseph's Food Pantry in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201. He also leaves his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Peter will be remembered for the kind, caring way he treated everyone he met and the gift of his humor that he brought to every activity. All who loved him will always remember to "LOOK AT THE VIEW."
