Laurette A. Luczynski

Laurette A. Luczynski, 67, of 585 Main Road, died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Burlington, Vt., on Feb. 15, 1940, daughter of Emile and Yvonne Piche Boucher, she moved to North Adams as a child and attended schools there. Mrs. Luczynski worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams and the former Stone Marketing Corp. in Adams for several years. She had also worked part-time as a waitress at the former Matt's Lodge in Savoy. She enjoyed crocheting. She and her husband, Lawrence A. Luczynski, were married Nov. 28, 1958. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, James Luczynski of Hinsdale and Timothy Luczynski of Cheshire; six sisters, Patricia Belval and Doris Samson, both of Middletown, Conn., Pauline McConnell of Rancho Cordova, Calif., Jane Shumaker of Clinton, Md., Ruth Delude of Orleans and Lorraine Bailey of Inman, S.C.; four brothers, Normand Boucher and Richard Boucher, both of Middletown, Conn, Frank Boucher of Albany, Ga., and Donald Boucher of Enfield, Conn.; and two grandsons. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A private funeral for Laurette Luczynski, who died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, will be held tomorrow at PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Savoy Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home. Mrs. Luczynski also leaves a daughter-in-law, Karen; two grandsons, Matthew and Nathan; a sister-in-law, Carolyn; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Jacqueline, Lucille and Rita, and by a brother, Robert.
