Kathleen A. Rawson

Kathleen A. Rawson, 45, of 18 George St., died Friday at home after a long illness. Born in Holyoke on Dec. 12, 1961, daughter of Jack and Josephine Costello Vincent, she attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Mildred Elley with a medical assistant's certificate in 1994. Mrs. Rawson formerly was employed by Dr. Peter Cerruti, an optometrist in Lee. Before that, she was employed by the former Willowood in Pittsfield. She enjoyed animals. Besides her parents, of Pittsfield, she leaves her fiancé, Patrick O'Hearn, with whom she resided; a daughter, Meaghan J. Rawson of Adams; a son, Jeffrey K. Rawson of the town of Washington; a sister, Marjorie Laurin of Windsor; two brothers, David Vincent of Pittsfield and John Vincent of Coral Springs, Fla.; and a granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Kathleen A. Rawson, who died Friday, April 6, 2007, will be Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mount Carmel Church at 9:30 a.m. by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, CSS, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. She also leaves her granddaughter, Haleigh Rawson of Pittsfield; a niece, Abbey Laurin of Windsor; a nephew, Ian Laurin of Windsor; and a brother-in-law, Jeffrey Laurin of Windsor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in care of the funeral home. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and was a devoted grandmother.
