Helen Ann Bolduc

Helen Ann Bolduc, 64, a 16-year resident of 50 Maple St., died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Chicopee on Sept. 29, 1942, daughter of Kenneth M. and May Slattery Boyce, she was educated in Chester and Pittsfield schools, and was a 1960 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She also attended Holyoke Community College, where she studied keypunch operating and psychology. Mrs. Bolduc worked as a machine operator at Boyd Converting for two years, retiring in 2000. She had been employed by Pittsfield Public Schools for nine years as a school bus driver, and at one time, had worked as a sales associate at Christy's in Lee. She was a former member of Becket Federated Church. She enjoyed Sudoku, visiting flea markets and bingo. She and her husband, David R. Bolduc, were married July 1, 1961, in Becket. Besides her husband, Mrs. Bolduc leaves four daughters, Perllena A. Beckwith of Hillsborough, N.C., Corina Poland-Blakesley of the town of Washington, Debra Daigneault of Pittsfield and Tamaira L. Parkinson of Worthington; two sisters, Celia LaGasse of Framingham and Yolanda Romano of Middlefield; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Helen Ann Bolduc, who died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, will be tomorrow at 7 p.m. at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, conducted by the Rev. Howard Noe, pastor of Montgomery Community Church. Burial will be later this spring in North Becket Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Bolduc may be made to the Becket Volunteer Fire Department of to the Becket Ambulance Squad in care of the funeral home, 890 East Main St., Dalton. Mrs. Bolduc also leaves her three sons-in-law, John Beckwith, Ricky Blakesley and Todd Parkinson; as well as her 16 grandchildren, David, Greg, Patrick, Amanda, Dustin, Melissa, Jennifer, Peter, James, John, Ashley, Destinee, Jonathan, Jared, Joshua and Lisa. She also enjoyed being with her family.
