Phyllis Marion Trottier

Phyllis Marion Trottier, 91, of 85 Eagle St., St. Joseph Court, died Sunday at Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown. Born in Clinton on Nov. 25, 1915, daughter of Charles Everett and Ruth Harrington Marchant, she moved to North Adams at age 10 and attended local schools and graduated from Drury High School in 1938. Mrs. Trottier and her husband, Vincent A. Trottier, established The Photo Shop on Eagle Street in 1938. They sold the store in 1976. Before that, she was employed by the former Oliver Stationary Store as a bookkeeper and the former H.W. Clark Wholesale Co. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Her husband, whom she married May 1, 1936, died Aug. 7, 1979. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Phyllis Marion Trottier, who died Sunday, April 15, 2007, will take place Thursday at 1 p.m. at the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, conducted by the Rev. Susan Stewart. All are welcome. There are no calling hours. The FLYNN AND DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Trottier also leaves nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
