Veronica E. Filocco, 92, of Roswell, Ga., a native of Adams, died Thursday at North Fulton Regional Hospital in Roswell. Born in Adams on May 6, 1914, daughter of Henry and Sophia Flaga Wojtaszek, she attended Adams schools. She moved to New York City as a young woman, where she worked as a registered nurse for many years. She moved to the Atlanta area in 1980. In Georgia, she was a communicant of St. Andrew's Church, and in Adams, was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church. She was the widow of Mario Filocco. Mrs. Filocco leaves two daughters, Phyllis Boeke of Dunwoody, Ga., and Eileen Godwin of Sandy Springs, Ga.; a son, Joseph Filocco of Johnston, R.I.; a sister, Cecilia Mastalerz of Pittsfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at St. Andrew's Church, Roswell, Ga. In Adams, the funeral will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 9 a.m. from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus' Church, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Catholic Parishes of Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
