Raymond Reynaldo Alicea Jr., 24, of 1190 Savoy Road, died Saturday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Holyoke on Nov. 11, 1982, son of the late Raymond R. Alicea and Martha Ponce, he attended school in Holyoke. Mr. Alicea worked for several businesses in the Springfield and northern Berkshire area. He came to North Adams several years ago, and to Cheshire in 2006. Besides his mother of Connecticut, he leaves his wife, the former Laura Marie Whitman, whom he married on Sept. 21, 2005 He also leaves a son, Rasziel Raymond Alicea of Greenfield, and a sister, Vanessa Alicea of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Raymond Reynaldo Alicea Jr., who died Saturday, April 14, 2007, will take place tomorrow at noon from TROTTIER-PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours are thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Donations in his memory can be made to the Rasziel R. Alicea Trust Fund, in care of Laura Marie Alicea, 1190 Savoy Road, Cheshire, MA 01225. Mr. Alicea also leaves his mother-in-law, Donna Hartwig of Adams; his father-in-law, Richard Whitman, of Adams; a haif-brother, Justin Orwat of Connecticut; a half-sister, Kayla Orwat of Connecticut; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
