Jean Elizabeth Frieri

Jean Elizabeth Frieri, 85, of 169 Valentine Road, died Friday at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield, where she had resided for the past five years. Born in South Lee on June 9, 1921, daughter of Dwight and Grace Carpenter Stalker, she attended Lee schools, and was a graduate of Lee High School. Primarily a homemaker, she had previously worked as a licensed practical nurse at the former St. Luke's Hospital in Pittsfield. Her first husband, Richard Bove, died July 1, 1971. Her second husband, Michael Frieri, is also deceased. She leaves a son, Richard T. Bove of Pittsfield; a sister, Helen LeTourneau of Pittsfield; and a granddaughter. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Jean E. Frieri, who died Friday, June 1, 2007, will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lee. There are no calling hours. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA, which is in charge of arrangements.
