Doreen Dolores Cornellier, 59, of 125 Longview Ave., died Monday morning at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on July 20, 1947, the daughter of Rosemary Gordon Dill Cummings and the late Fred Dill, she was educated in Dalton schools and was a 1965 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School. At the time of her death, Mrs. Cornellier was employed as a bus driver for the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority, where she had worked for the past 24 years. Previously, she worked as a school bus driver and dispatcher for Dufour Inc. for 12 years. She was a member of the local Teamster's Union. She loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband, Paul F. Cornellier, died Feb. 11, 2007. Besides her mother, of Hinsdale, Mrs. Cornellier is survived by a son, Michael P. Cornellier, and a daughter, Janine R. Cornellier, both of Hinsdale, and three grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Doreen Dolores Cornellier, who died Monday, June 11, 2007, requested that her body be donated to Harvard Medical School for medical science research, after which, following cremation, burial will be in Maple Street Cemetery in Hinsdale. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. in Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Cornellier may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Center at the University of Texas for uterine cancer research, both in care of the funeral home. Mrs. Cornellier leaves three grandchildren, Blake Litchfield, Bailey Litchfield and Madeline Lamke, and her special cousin, Patricia Gaetani.
