Charles E. Barsalow, 75, of Albany, N.Y., died Tuesday at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. He was the father of David J. Barsalow of Pittsfield. He was born in Nassau Lake, N.Y., on May 9, 1932, son of John J. and Edith Kelso Barsalow. Mr. Barsalow retired from the city of Albany, where he was a driver. He also had worked as a machinist for the Fuller Brush Co. His wife, the former Anna Rockenstyre, is deceased. Besides his son, he leaves a daughter, Melissa Barsalow of Herkimer, N.Y., and a grandchild. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Charles E. Barsalow, who died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, will be Saturday at 8:15 a.m. from McVEIGH FUNERAL HOME, 208 North Allen St., Albany, N.Y., with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Albany, at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Memory's Garden Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Coralie Barsalow of Pittsfield, and a grandchild, Alden Bentz.
