Joyce G. Campetti

Joyce G. Campetti, 78, of 73 Sandisfield Road died Saturday at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington. Born in Newark, N.J., on Feb. 25, 1929, daughter of Charles and Grace Kilbourn Allan, she moved to Sandisfield as a child, was educated in local schools and graduated from Lee High School in 1946. Mrs. Campetti and her husband, Maurice D. Campetti, owned and operated Allan's Restaurant from 1973 to 1989. From 1966 to 1973, she owned and operated the Nut Meg Dress Shoppe in Canton, Conn. From 1946 to 1966, she and her husband operated View Dairy Farm. She was a member and former treasurer of New Boston Congregational Church, and a member and treasurer of the Sandisfield Historical Society and of the Arts Center. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. She and her husband were married Nov. 14, 1946. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, John M. Campetti of Sandisfield; three daughters, Joy G. Greenleaf of Pittsfield, Candace A. Campetti of Torrington, Conn., and Dawn A. Pachulski of Sandisfield; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Joyce G. Campetti, who died Saturday, June 17, 2007, will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11 at New Boston Congregational Church in Sandisfield by the Rev. Donald Peet. Burial will be a later date in Sandisfield Cemetery. Visiting hours at KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to the church, in care of the the funeral home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238. Mrs. Campetti also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Crealese, Holly O'Brien, John, Jill and Christopher Campetti, and Matthew Pachulski; her great-grandchildren, Alek O'Brien, and Ryan John, Anna Grace and Sara Joyce Crealese; her sons-in-law, Eric Pachulski, Thomas Greenleaf and George Craig; her grandsons-in-law, Kevin Crealese and Jim Morawiec. Most of all, Mrs. Campetti enjoyed having her family around her.
