Lincoln Thomas Keller

Lincoln Thomas Keller, 43, of 60 West Burt St., a longtime Adams firefighter, died Saturday morning at home. He was born in Adams on May 13, 1964, the son of Thomas A. and Jean Nuttelman Keller, he attended local schools and graduated from Charles H. McCann Technical High School in 1982. Mr. Keller was a machinist and mechanic, and had worked for various companies in the area, including at Pierce Machine Co., Jiminy Peak, Beloit Lenox Division, Holland Co. and Specialty Minerals Inc. He retired in August 1995 due to poor health. A longtime Adams firefighter, Mr. Keller was elected to membership of the Alert Hose Company No. 1 on May 6, 1986, and had completed 21 years of service this May. He was a member of Troop 38 of the Boy Scouts of America and had achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Adams Sno-Drifters and the Berkshire Chapter of the Harley Owners Group. He was also a former member of the Adams Forest Wardens. He enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, skiing, camping and fishing. He was also an artist and enjoyed sign painting. Besides his parents, of Adams, he leaves a son, Preston T. Keller of Adams and a sister, Kimberly Tremblay of Adams. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lincoln T. Keller, who died Saturday, June 30, 2007, will be held Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by services at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Adams, conducted by the Rev. Donald E. Gray, pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Due to the observance of Independence Day, there will be no services or visitation on Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to the Alert Hose Company or the Renal Dialysis Unit at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield through the funeral home. Mr. Keller also leaves a brother-in-law, Daniel, of Adams; a nephew, Raymond Skowronski of Adams; two nieces, Natasha Skowronski and Ashley Tremblay, both of Adams; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
