Mary A. Kelley

Mary A. Kelley, 70, of Brown Memorial Court, died Monday at home. Born in Bronxville, N.Y., on July 6, 1936, daughter of Samuel and Catherine Thompson Corbitt, she was a 1954 graduate of Lee High School. Mrs. Kelley worked as a waitress at the Publick House in Sturbridge in the 1960s and, later, at various restaurants in the Lee area. In the 1980s, she managed Victoria Restaurant. She was last employed as a cashier at Price Chopper. She and her former husband, James K. Kelley, were married Feb. 11, 1956, Besides Mr. Kelley, she leaves three sons, James M. Kelley of Weltersback, Germany, and Daniel P. Kelley and John S. Kelley, both of Lee; a daughter, Katherine E. Wright of Pittsfield; two brothers, Samuel J. Corbitt of Worcester and John "Buddy" Corbitt of Sarasota, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mary Kelley, who died Monday, July 2, 2007, will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Lee. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at KELLY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Main St., Lee. Mary leaves her beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Brittney Wright, Kayla Wright Arienti, and Shawn, Brian, Zachary, Rebekah, Samuel, Jake, Matty and Gabriel Kelley; her great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Santino and Marcello Arienti; her son-in-law, Robert Wright; and daughters-in-law, Beth, Susan and Lisa Kelley.
