Stacia Ann Kulpa

Stacia Ann Kulpa, 89, of 13 Cross St., died Tuesday at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown. Born in Adams on Dec. 16, 1917, daughter of John and Victoria Wlodyka Wegrzyn, she attended local schools. Mrs. Kulpa was a homemaker most of her life but had worked at the former Berkshire Mills, at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams and in the cafeteria of St. Stanislaus' School. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church and a member of its Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Polish Women's Alliance. Her husband, Lawrence T. Kulpa, whom she married Oct. 19, 1936, died Dec. 8, 1977. She leaves three sons, Paul Kulpa of Windsor, Frederick Kulpa of Depew, N.Y., and Thomas Kulpa of Cabot, Ariz.; two daughters, Virginia Dubis of Adams and Nancy Kulpa of Hinsdale; a sister, Helen Skowronski of Williamstown; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Stacia Ann Kulpa, who died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, will be Saturday, July 7, at 9 a.m. at PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Members of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Sodality will meet at the funeral home at 3:45 p.m. to pay their respects and recite the rosary. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka Church or School through the funeral home. Mrs. Kulpa also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Tarsa.
