Alice Margaret "Peggy" Mazinski

Alice Margaret "Peggy" Mazinski, 94, of Samuel F. Vilas Home, Plattsburgh, N.Y., formerly of North Adams, died Saturday at Champlain Valley Physician's Hospital Medical Center in Plattsburgh. Born in North Adams on March 30, 1913, daughter of Louis E. and Alice Morin Bedard, she attended local schools. Mrs. Mazinski was employed by North Adams Regional Hospital in the housekeeping department. Before that, she was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co., for 40 years. While in North Adams, she was a communicant of St. Francis' Church. In Plattsburgh, she was a member of the Walking Club. She enjoyed garage sales. Her husband, Richard F. Mazinski, is deceased. Mrs. Mazinski leaves a son, Richard E. Mazinski of Westfield; a daughter, Carol Mazinski Beaudin of Peru, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Alice "Peggy" Mazinski will be conducted Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Francis' Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Samuel F. Vials Home, in care of the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of the Vilas Home for their kindness and support in caring for Peggy. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Kristine; a son-in-law, Michael; and four grandchildren, Scott Beaudin of Mechanicsville, Va., Cindy Beaudin Campopiano of Glens Falls, N.Y., Jill Beaudin Poveda of Nyack, N.Y., and Tania Mazinski Powers of Florence; and nieces and nephews. Five brothers and sisters are deceased.
