Rachael B. Ferguson

Rachael B. Ferguson, 95, of the Heron House, Fort Myers, Fla., a native of Adams, died Wednesday at home after a long illness. Born on Aug. 25, 1911, daughter of Nelson and Delia Bechard Bedard, she attended local schools. Mrs. Ferguson had been a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Andrew's Parish in Cape Coral, Fla. Her husband, John O. Ferguson, whom she married Aug. 19, 1931, died May 4, 1982. She leaves a son, John N. Ferguson of Cape Coral, Fla.; a daughter, Jacquelyn Fetherston of Sanibel, Fla.; a brother, Leonard Ferguson of Deerfield; a sister, Harriette Bator of Adams; and six grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Rachael Ferguson, who died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, will be celebrated on Monday at 1 p.m. in Notre Dame Church in Adams. Burial will follow in the family plot in Bellevue Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., preceding the funeral Mass, which will be offered at 1 p.m. MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Teen Fox Ferguson; and a son-in-law, William Fetherston. A brother, Leo Bedard, predeceased her.
