William Earl Demastrie

William Earl Demastrie, 57, of 45 Loop Road died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Born in Adams on July 28, 1950, son of Lillian Whalen Demastrie and the late Peter Demastrie, he attended schools in Savoy and Adams, and graduated from the former Adams High School. Mr. Demastrie was employed by Canyon Ranch in Lenox for several years. Before that, he had worked at Holland Co. in Adams for many years. He was a member of the Savoy Baptist Church, and was a skilled fisherman. Beside his mother, of Savoy, he leaves a son, James Demastrie of Adams; and a brother, Peter Demastrie of Savoy. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for William Demastrie, who died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
